"The Angry Video Game Nerd" Friday The 13th (TV Episode 2006)

It's safe to assume quite a number of you are familiar with and if not then you're probably familiar with the series which seemed to skyrocket the sites popularity; James Rolfe's ‘Angry Videogame Nerd'. It's unfortunate that James has already come back from filming and will now completely overshadow Mike because he's such a dick like that, but those who are truly comedic connoisseurs will continue to acknowledge what lovely contributions that Mike Matte-Finish has made to his YouTube channel in his absence.

The Angry Video Game Nerd along with the Nostalgia Critic, made a background cameo appearance in the anime Zettai Karen Children: The Unlimited.

Considered as one of the pioneering internet reviewers in its history, the Nerd was highly influential in bringing online video reviews to the mainstream public. Matei has also worked on different series of Rolfe's such as Board James , in which he has his own character, the cheating Jerkass Motherfucker Mike.

On January 14, 2011, Mike Matei did his first solo video for Cinemassacre "How to Jump Over The Flagpole on Stage 1-1 in Super Mario Bros". I occasionally play character roles in some of our web series such as Mother-expletive Mike” on Board James, And I also manage the Cinemassacre Mike Matei YouTube channel , website , and social media pages.

Rolfe's character, "the Nerd", is a short-tempered and foul-mouthed video game fanatic who satirically reviews old video games in the form reminiscent of insult comedies such as Mystery Science Theater 3000. Fans of the Angry Video Game Nerd will happily purchase this mixed bag of nerd-stalgia and they won't be disappointed.

Other contributions over the years have included drawing each episode's title cards, helping James pick out and study the game before writing the script for a Nerd episode, and portraying the cheating bastard” Motherfucker Mike in the Board James series.

If you love AVGN then this movie is definitely for you. Maybe one day I'll pop up in a Nerd episode, but for the time being there's no plans for such a thing. So it's only natural I'd make Zelda-related videos. On May 11th, 2012, Matei uploaded "Minecraft with Gadget," a video in which he and an animated version of Inspector Gadget, voiced by Matei, reviewed the IOS port of Minecraft In the video, Inspector Gadget has trouble pronouncing the name of the game, eventually calling it "Minecrapap He repeated the name several times during the video, eventually repeating "I love to build brown bricks with mine crap."
